The Best Nonprofit Podcasts — Find One Today

by Eric Burgess

Podcast Listenership

Ah, podcasts. Popular again. According to survey data from Edison Research, a growing minority of Americans are listening to podcasts. As of 2016, 21% of Americans age 12 or older say they have listened to a podcast in the past month. This reflects steady incremental growth since 2013, when that share was 12%.

I recently rediscovered podcasts myself for topics like marketing, self-help, marriage and relationships, and more. Today, while looking for nonprofit podcasts, I found them all spread out over the web. It took some time to locate the best ones, so I decided to pull together a solid list for you to have as a resource. Also, I made sure to only include regularly updated podcasts. Enjoy!

Hi Eric! Thanks for putting up this list. Denver Frederick of The Business of Giving podcast might be a great addition too. He has a weekly radio show on AM970 The Answer New York where he interviews CEOs and leaders of nonprofit organizations such as The Ford Foundation, Rockefeller Foundation, The Nature Conservancy, American Heart Association, XPrize and more. You can find more details here: http://www.denver-frederick.com/
He releases weekly podcasts which include transcripts on the website too. 🙂

Happy writing! 🙂
