Webinar: Things They Don’t Teach You About Fundraising Operations

by Dan Kimball

This webinar is designed for nonprofits and faith-based organizations of any size. We’ll look at what happens behind the scenes of successful fundraising operations. In addition, we’ll share practical tips for running and managing them.

Data management, gift processing, office procedures, and event management are important because development and fundraising operations hold everything together. But achieving strong development operations requires planning, time management, and even some HR skills. Development may take time for your organization, department, or ministry; fundraising doesn’t happen overnight. But don’t lose focus.

Above all, it’s the people who matter. People give because they understand their donations can help impact the mission of your organization. Although money is needed to help support your operations, don’t forget fundraising is ultimately about relationships. People get excited to give to a cause they care about. When they also have a good relationship with you, they are more likely to continue supporting your organization in the future.

During this webinar we discuss:

  • How to get the most out of your donor management software and database
  • Gift processing and records management
  • The overhead myth and ways to make the right investment in your fundraising operations
  • The dilemma of too much to do and not enough time

Hi there!

Yes, it will be recorded. Go ahead and sign up for the webinar even though you won’t be able to attend. That way, at the end of the webinar when I email out the recording, I can include you in that email I send to those who attend. It includes the recording and SlideShare. Thanks!
