New: More Beautiful and Shareable Accounting Reports

We know just how important your financial reports are. They are shared with your board, accountant, management team, and even supporters. You need to communicate transparency, accuracy, and professionalism when it comes to your finances. That’s why we are launching a new Reports platform for Aplos Accounting.
Today Aplos unveiled the release of its new reports platform in Aplos Accounting. Here is a quick tour of what has changed.
Your New Reports Screen:
Organizations will have a new Reports platform, displaying more reports to choose from and the ability to mark your favorites, making it faster to find the report you need. Anyone can click the star next to desired reports to mark them as a favorite and keep them at the top of the page for quick access. If necessary, users can easily switch back to view their old saved reports by clicking “Classic Reports” in the top left corner.

New Reports:
Aplos also rebuilt the reports and enhanced select reports for more complex reporting capabilities:
  • New! Journal Entry Report
  • New! General Ledger Report
  • Budgeting Reports – Now shows the comparative difference between budget and actual
  • Reports by Fund – Prepare batched income statements or balance sheets by fund with each fund broken out
Easily Share:
All of the reports have been rebuilt to be exported or printed as a beautiful report that has clean, professional formatting. Each report now has the option to Print, Export, Save as PDF, or Share by Email so users can securely prepare professional reports with the click of a button.

How To Try It:
The new Reports platform is automatically available to all of our Aplos Accounting users that subscribe to our $25/mo or $40/mo Accounting plans. Just go to the Reports screen and try it out.
Organizations that enrolled in Aplos Accounting prior to November 2015 need to upgrade their plan to access these new features, but may continue in their current plan and the Classic Reports platform if desired. If your organization wishes to test the new reports, change your plan on the subscription page. You have until the end of the month to try it out without being charged and if you don’t love it, just contact Support and we will switch you back.

Joshua is a bit of a Swiss army knife. More like one of those generic, off-brand multitools that really only has two or three tools that are actually of use, but darn if they're not the best at what they do. When he's not spending time with his wife and daughters, he's probably home working on his novel or out cycling by Millerton Lake. (What's that? My bio isn't long enough? Ok, I got this...) He also likes cheese, prefers Pixel to iPhone, hates clickbait article titles, is a strong believer in the Oxford comma, thinks Rogue One was better than The Force Awakens, and The Last Jedi was better than both. (Boom, nailed it.)
