Between the work of the organization’s mission, balancing multiple budgets, running a staff, working with a board and volunteers, raising money, and so much more, it can be a thankless and exhausting job. It can also be quite rewarding when you can be part of a well-run organization that makes a difference in a community or region.

We interview special guest Mike Firpo, Executive Director of The First Tee of Fresno. Although it wasn’t initially his intention to become an Executive Director of a nonprofit, he saw a need. He wanted to make a difference in his community so he helped create the organization. Then his passion for the cause led him to pursue the position.
