We at Aplos hope your organization will participate in the global day of giving known as Giving Tuesday! If you haven’t heard, it occurs the Tuesday following Thanksgiving. Started in response to Black Friday, it is a day meant for giving. It’s a great opportunity to encourage giving and to raise awareness for your nonprofit. It continues to be on the rise, with over $300 million raised online last year, according to the official website.
Even though this inspiring event is still weeks away, it is never too early to start planning your campaign. After all, when is engaging potential donors ever a bad thing? Below, we provide a checklist containing what you’ll need to start your campaign. To print, merely click on the image to open the PDF version.
We hope this checklist will give you the edge you need to make a stellar and successful Giving Tuesday campaign. Happy campaigning! #GivingTuesday
And when it’s over, don’t forget to thank anyone who donates, no matter how small the gift. Not only is it just good manners to do so, it’s also part of solid donor management, which will help you in your relationships with them long after your campaign has passed.
